Our Peruvian adventure started with some relaxing days at the beach in laid-back surfer-town Máncora, after that a short stopover in Lima before sandboarding and wine-tasting around in Ica and Huacachina, next was the Inka town of Cusco and Machu Picchu, the beautiful white town of Arequipa and nearby Colca canyon, before finishing off in Puno at Lake Titicaca.
Our travels in Ecuador (after Galapagos) started in Quito with purple ghosts and Easter parades, the Otavalo market, awesomeness around Quilotoa, extreme-sports in Baños and the beautiful town of Cuenca.
We did a 5-day cruise in the Galapagos during Easter 2013 with G Adventures and had some of the most amazing wildlife experiences of our life, swimming with sea lions, penguins, turtles and iguanas, and studying up close various birds and land animals.
These are some photos from our 3 week adventure in Colombia, starting with the Caribbean cost at Taganga, getting soaking wet in Tayrona National Park, walking the streets of the walled city in Cartagena, off the beaten track in Mompox, surviving Medellin, hiking El Peñol in Guatapé, enjoying thermal pools and the beautiful nature in the Coffee Region, and finishing up with 48 hours in Bogota.

Some days in Caye Caulker, where I did a dive in the crystal clear Caribbean waters and we sailed for three days to Placencia in the south, stopping to snorkel and eat lobster on deserted islands.
We traveled in Guatemala for the last week of 2012 and the first weeks of 2013, starting with the amazing Maya ruins of Tikal, language classes in Antigua, chilling at Lago Atitlan, mounting a volcano and freezing our asses off in Xela, and a jungle adventure in Semuc Champey.
We traveled in Cuba for 19 days December 2012, going from Havana, to Viñales, Cienfuegos, Trinidad and back to Havana for christmas. We stayed in various casa particulares and got to know the Cubans as a warm, happy and friendly people.
9 days in Tulum, Mexico, spent chilling at the playa, snorkling in the cenotes and with turtles, eating muchos tacos, and checking out the sweet Maya ruins.
